SOUNDEAR 3 Industry
The SoundEar 3 Industry displays the measured sound level on its screen. You can set the threshold values as desired and store a time history of the measurement data.
The SoundEar 3 Industry has more features than the SoundEar II Industry, namely:
- Storage of a time history of the measurement data (LAeq and LCpeak parameters).
- The microphone can work with a microphone extension cable as standard.
- The measurement in dB(A) can be read on the screen.
- Adjustable via PC and via buttons on the device itself.
- The threshold value for the green, orange, and red lights can be set as desired.
- Use of a daily schedule whereby the device does not light up during a certain period of the day (e.g., during the night).

- The device is a variant of the SoundEar 3 Standard, featuring an icon of a head with earmuffs.
- SoundEar 3 Industry emits a clear warning signal when hearing protection is required.
- SoundEar 3 Industry is mounted on the wall, displays the current measured sound level in an understandable way, and gives a clear visual alarm when the sound level is too high.
- For measuring noise in the workplace in accordance with Royal Decree 16/01/2006 (Royal Decree of January 16, 2006, on the protection of the health and safety of workers against the risks of noise at work) and European Directive 2003/10/EC, the alarm level can be set to 85dB(A), which corresponds to the upper exposure action value.
- SoundEar 3 Industry has an IP42 protection rating for water and dust.
